Important: Published Open Play sessions can block the selected courts from normal booking during the session time, so make sure you select only the courts actually being used.

Managing an Open Play session

Publish

Use Publish when the session details are final and you are ready for players to see and join the session.

Unpublish / Draft

Keep a session unpublished or in Draft while you are still editing details and are not yet ready for players to join.

End Session

Use End Session when the Open Play has already taken place and is finished. This keeps the session record while marking the event as completed.

Cancel Session

Use Cancel Session when the event will no longer happen. Cancel rather than End if the session did not proceed as planned.

Before cancelling: Check whether players have already joined or paid. Follow your venue’s normal communication/refund process and notify affected players when necessary.
